How fast will the barbecue start?

Lighting a charcoal barbecue will take you at least 30 minutes with a briquette starter. If you do it on your own, it can easily take 45 minutes. At that point, the charcoals or briquettes will finally be hot enough for you to start grilling.
A gas barbecue is on in 5 minutes
You can switch on most gas barbecues by pressing a button. You will have to connect a gas bottle to the barbecue first, but after you've done it a few times, it won't take more than 5 minutes. Put the gas on full power and you'll reach the right grill temperature in 10 minutes.

This way the food remains burn to ash. After this, it's only a matter of cooling down. You can easily clean the rack after it's cooled.
