Dometic CoolFreeze CDF 11 - Electric

Pros and cons

According to our koelbox expert
  • Pros:
A compressor cooler's cooling performance doesn't depend on the outdoor temperature.
  • Pros:
Thanks to its A++ energy label, this is an energy-efficient cooler.
  • Pros:
Thanks to the freezer function, you can just as easily use the cooler as a freezer.
  • Con:
The cooler doesn't have a 230-volt plug, so you'll need a transformer if you want to use it at the campsite.
  • Con:
Compressor coolers will activate every now and then to retain the right temperature, which means they aren't silent.

You can use the Dometic CoolFreeze CDF 11 compressor cooler to chill drinks and food on the go. Thanks to the 12 or 24-volt charging cable, you can connect the cooler to your car or camper. Despite its compact size, 0.75-liter cans or water bottles fit in the cooler. The cooler has a digital temperature display and cools or freezes to a minimum temperature of -18 degrees. On top of that, the cooling performance doesn't depend on the ambient temperature, so the CoolFreeze CDF 11 works just as well if it's really hot outside. Place your drinking cup or bottle in 1 of the useful cup holders on top of the cooler when you're on the go. When you get out, you can easily carry the cooler with you using the removable shoulder strap. Note: a compressor cooler activates every now and then to maintain the right temperature and to prevent heating. This means that a compressor cooler will sometimes make a little more noise, comparable to the sound of the fridge in your kitchen.
