Indirect cooking is the new barbecue. Flame in the pan is so ... a blackened bacon. You grill indirectly by placing the ConvEGGtor on the Big Green Egg barbecue. You then place your stainless steel grid on top. The ConvEGGtor ensures that flames do not get directly onto your grate with your products. In this way, indirect heat radiation comes through both the bottom and the bottom of your product. This way you give that piece of extra (smoke) flavor to your pieces of meat, fish and vegetables. Products do not dry out due to the slow cooking.Note: the grid in the picture is not supplied as standard. The convEGGtor is suitable for the grid of your Big Green Egg Small.
