You can connect the Smartwares VD40W to the existing wiring of your doorbell. This app-controlled video door intercom works with WiFi or a wired Internet connection and mains power. Thanks to the integrated speaker, microphone, and camera, you'll be able to directly and politely speak to and see the person in front of your door, wherever you are. Install the free app on your smartphone or tablet (iOS and Android) and you'll be directly connected to your doorbell. Whenever someone rings the doorbell, up to 4 preset phone numbers will receive a push notification via the app. The HD camera has a 1280x720-pixel resolution, allowing you to always make sharp recordings. The night mode with infrared lighting ensures you also have clear visibility when it's dark. You can insert a microSD card (not included) into the doorbell and easily record a video.
