    Not recommended. No power connector...

      Small dimensions.

      Takes power from the motherboard.
    • Con:
      No seperate six-pin power connector.
    • Con:
      Insufficient memory.
    • Con:
      Outdated.

    Some graphics cards take their power from the motherboard and the 1050 is one of them. As a result the motherboard and processor run hotter.

    Graphics cards should always take their power directly from the Power Supply Unit [PSU] and should have either a six pin or eight pin connector.

    Overclocking is also NOT recommended when the correct solution is to use a better graphics card. The same principle applies to processors.
