The casing of the Bosch ErgoMix MSM6S50B is partly made of stainless steel, which makes this immersion blender extra sturdy and more durable. Other than that, this immersion blender has the same properties as the plastic version. You can use the food chopper to finely chop ingredients. For example, you can chop onions and nuts or make a dip like hummus. You can easily beat egg whites and whip cream with the balloon whisk, without getting a sore arm. Thanks to the 12 settings, you can accurately set the speed. For example, use a high setting to whip cream and a low setting for chunky peanut butter.

It is practical to use
Pleasure to work with, quickly to clean, quality awesome
Very well designed set, obvious from the moment you open the box. The parts are easy to handle, buttons are in the right place, nothing is too big or heavy in the hand. There's tons of tiny details that make for a good experience, from the design of the mixer attachment that makes it easy to clean even by hand, through the lids that come with both bowls (that's missing from many of the higher priced sets), to the suction cups on the bottom of the chopper bowl. There's even a blade to crush ice with. I really hope it will last for a good while, but I'm already happy using it. It's a very good value for money, and unless you really need a stand mixer for making big batches of dough or similar, I'd recommend this small set to save on money and counter space.
We do a lot of cooking and this blenders exceeded our expectations. Silent, does perfectly what it should do. Power cord with nice reach. We had it for 3 weeks and tested in on preparation few times both hard (guacamole, salsa) and soft (eggs, salmon/tuna tartar). Me and my wife are supper happy with it. I wish the mixer would be more sturdy and when my 7year old daughter did not assembled it properly (without final click sound) one of the main part was scratched, this could be made out of something more robust than plastic. Still great choice for the price.
