Pros and cons

According to our IP camera expert
  • The camera runs on batteries, so it's completely wireless.
  • With its 140-degree viewing angle, you can keep an eye on a larger part of your garden than with similar cameras.
  • With the integrated microphone, you can listen in on what's happening remotely.
  • You need a good WiFi signal where you're installing the camera; use a WiFi extender to create a strong WiFi network near your camera.
  • Saving footage and viewing it later requires a subscription.

Description

With the Ring Spotlight Cam Battery Black Duo Pack, you'll know what's happening around your house day and night. The wireless IP cameras work on rechargeable batteries, so you can place them wherever you have WiFi reception. You can install the cameras easily via the user-friendly app from Ring. In this app, you can also see and hear live what's happening in your garden and add extra cameras. Scare off burglars by automatically putting the spotlights on them, sounding an alarm, or talking to them through the integrated speakers. The cameras detect motion and will automatically start recording video and sound. You can review the footage from the cloud later.

Note: to use all options, you need a Ring Protect subscription. After a 30-day trial, the subscription costs € 10 per month if you have multiple Ring products.
