We tested it ourselves. Read our expert review of the Apple MacBook Air (2018) here.
In contrast with its predecessors, the 13.3-inch MacBook Air 2018 has a Retina display, which can display the tiniest details of images. On top of that, the screen is nearly edgeless, which means you have relatively more screen space than with other 13.3-inch laptops. You can use a MacBook Air at home, on the go, or in a lecture room, since the MacBook is thin (1.56cm) and light (1.25kg), which means you can easily take it with you. Thanks to Touch ID, you can log in with your fingerprint, so you can quickly get to work. You can leave the charger at home, since a charged battery will last for about 12 hours.

It was some challenge to get used to the new keyboard provided on this Macbook, as I have always used a keyboard that is meant for a windows pc.
However, in my eyes this keyboard functions as well, if not better than that of a windows computer. Therefore I would recommend this macbook, as next to featuring a nice keyboard it is also designed very well.
Speed and storage space are fine aswell for personal use, however you might want to consider more than 128gb if you're going to save a lot of pictures on the macbook itself. However, for this problem you could also upgrade your iCloud storage. Next to that, the laptop is very prone for grease stains caused by touching the screen. This is near inevitable, as you are tended to touch the screen when you try to open this macbook.
