"The best soundbar you can ask for"
In the version: Beam Zwart

By Gábor Kozár on 29 July 2019

  • Pros:
Amazing sound quality and depth even without a subwoofer
  • Pros:
Seamless audio streaming from any source
  • Pros:
Easy extension options with other Sonos products
  • Pros:
App provides extensive control and customisation possibilities
  • Pros:
    Easy to set up
  • Con:
    Relatively expensive
  • Con:
Does not support 5 Ghz WiFi

After my experiences with the LG SK8 soundbar, the Sonos Beam was a breath of fresh air. Seamless, quick setup, amazing audio quality and the ability to easily stream any audio from any source. I've been using it daily for a month now, and yet to run into any notable problems. The one slight complaint that I have is that it can only operate on 2.4 GHz WiFi, and does not support 5 GHz - but this very unlikely to cause a problem for the overwhelming majority of people.

I was very pleasantly surprised by the sound quality. Given the lack of subwoofer, I expected the sound to feel hollow, but nothing could be farther from the truth. The Sonos Beam sounds simply amazing, and that's not something I say lightly.

This is definitely the soundbar I would recommend to anyone who has ~400 EURs to spend. It's worth it.

"Great sound shame about the connectivity to phone sources"
In the version: Beam Zwart

By Vijay Deb on 5 December 2019

  • Pros:
    Design and build quality
  • Pros:
Sound in a small to medium size room
  • Pros:
    Quick setup
  • Con:
Unable to play music directly from IPhone

Over other sound bars for me this has to be the best looking. I am surprisingly pleased with sound output. The bass is decent enough for movies.

I was disappointed to find that i was unable to connect my Iphone directly to the Sonos Beam.
