With the compact LaCie 2big RAID USB 3.1 8TB, you can store all your photos, videos, and creative projects. You can connect your iMac or Macbook via the USB-C port, install the disk on your computer, and your storage system is ready for use. Thanks to USB 3.1, you can transfer files with a speed of up to 440MB/s. This device contains several 3.5-inch hard drives with which you can create a RAID setup of your choice. With RAID 0, you can create one large storage space, whereas wiith RAID 1, you can mirror the contents of the drives so you always have a backup. With JBOD, the drives work independently of each other. If something goes wrong with your hard drive within 5 years, Seagate Rescue Service will repair it for you. That way, you won't lose precious photos and files. Use the Lacie RAID manager to check your drive space or to switch your RAID setup.
