Product Expert digital pianos

The Casio Privia PX-S1000 is a basic digital piano for the home and on the road. You can easily take this item with you thanks to the compact design and the weight of 11.2 kilograms. This way you will not lift yourself when you take the digital piano to the rehearsal room of your band. You have the feeling that you are playing on a real piano thanks to the 88 keys with weighted hammer mechanism. The low keys also feel heavier than the high keys. Via bluetooth you stream music from your smartphone, so you play along with your favorite music. If you do not have a device with Bluetooth, use the 3.5 mm aux input. Do you want to learn to play the piano with the help of an app? Then use the Casio Chordana app.

"Great Piano, nice sound"

Robert Martin | 19 January 2020

  • Pros:
    Excellent looking
  • Pros:
    Sound
  • Pros:
    connections
  • Pros:
    App
  • Pros:
    Scaled keys
  • Con:
    USB B
  • Con:
    sustain pedal not the best

Got this piano for my son, it is really a great piano for students or any musicians who need a full size piano to practice on. The keys feel right and the action is firm. The sounds is very good. The three acoustic piano voices are all very usable and there are some other good voices available too. The App works well but why Casio have you put USB on this piano in 2019??
You will probably need to buy the optional sustain pedal (as the one that comes with it is not brilliant), but this is a minor issue.
