The Alecto SA-110 is an optical smoke detector with a battery which doesn't have to be replaced until after 10 years. The set consists of 4 smoke detectors. When the detectors detect smoke, they sound an audio signal of 85dB. The sound can be turned off for up to 10 minutes with the time-out button. When the battery is almost empty, the detector indicates this with an audio signal. In addition, they have a test and reset button. Test both detectors once a month to make sure they still work. All the mounting material is included by default, so you can get started as soon as they're delivered.
