Thanks to the compact size and low weight, you can easily carry the camera in your backpack. With the Creative Assist function, you can easily take sharp and creative pictures. "A good choice!"

Henrique Cunha | 15 June 2020 | In de samenstelling: Body - Zwart + Lens voor o.a. Portret en Landschap

  • Pros:
    Picture quality and definition
  • Pros:
    User-friendly menus
  • Pros:
    Screen rotation
  • Pros:
    Capture of low light pictures
  • Con:
    Price

I decided on this camera after confronting my budget, wishes and needs, with functions and scale-up possibilities for my future use. My comparison table started with 6 models/makers and then I added different offers found on the market. Because the budget has a big influence on my requirements list, I considered also oldest models too.
I am a product designer and I see a product for its function, material, and design but also its interaction with the user. I am still getting used to the camera, but in my opinion, a big plus is a capability of having the control menus adapted to a beginner style or in a more “professional” way. Also, the rotation of the screen is a go feature for getting the best position angle. The picture quality and definition are stunning (comparing with my old camera, of course). The capability of having good quality pictures with low light and without flash is incredible. At this moment, I believe I have done a good choice.
