Product Expert soundbars

It's easy to improve the sound of your favorite movies, series, and music with this Sonos Beam 3.1 + Sub set. The Sonos Beam soundbar wirelessly plays music from your smartphone, laptop, or NAS via WiFi. You can easily stream media via AirPlay 2, Google Chromecast, SonosNet, or Spotify Connect. Adjust the sound of the bar to your environment with the 3 modi: the standard mode, night mode, and speech enhancement mode. The Sub improves the bass, so the song or the sound effects from a series come to life. You can use WiFi to connect the Sub to a Beam and if you want to other Sonos speakers for a multi-room or home cinema sound setup.

"The best soundbar you can ask for"
In the version: Beam Zwart

By Gábor Kozár on 29 July 2019

  • Pros:
Amazing sound quality and depth even without a subwoofer
  • Pros:
Seamless audio streaming from any source
  • Pros:
Easy extension options with other Sonos products
  • Pros:
App provides extensive control and customisation possibilities
  • Pros:
    Easy to set up
  • Con:
    Relatively expensive
  • Con:
Does not support 5 Ghz WiFi

After my experiences with the LG SK8 soundbar, the Sonos Beam was a breath of fresh air. Seamless, quick setup, amazing audio quality and the ability to easily stream any audio from any source. I've been using it daily for a month now, and yet to run into any notable problems. The one slight complaint that I have is that it can only operate on 2.4 GHz WiFi, and does not support 5 GHz - but this very unlikely to cause a problem for the overwhelming majority of people.

I was very pleasantly surprised by the sound quality. Given the lack of subwoofer, I expected the sound to feel hollow, but nothing could be farther from the truth. The Sonos Beam sounds simply amazing, and that's not something I say lightly.

This is definitely the soundbar I would recommend to anyone who has ~400 EURs to spend. It's worth it.
