Description

Thanks to the Ring Chime, you can hear it throughout your home if someone rings your Ring doorbell. Without the Chime, you only receive a notification on your smartphone. Thanks to this doorbell, you'll know when someone is at the door even if you don't have a phone nearby. Via the Ring app, you can easily connect this device to your Ring doorbell (all models) but also to Ring security cameras. When a camera detects movement, the Chime gives a signal. As a result, you're always aware of activity in the rooms you've secured with a camera.

    A basic model would have done the job for cheaper

    • Con:
      Wireless repeater is not powerful enough
    • Con:
      Repeater only works with Ring devices

    It looks nice. But too pricey for a chime. And built-in repeater function is not really helpful and is hard to verify that is working (placed two meters away from other Ring devices, and they are still reporting weak signal).
