Product information

Description

The Goal Zero Nomad 50 Portable Solar Panel 50W is a relatively easy to carry solar panel for charging smartphones, power banks, and power stations. The panel is foldable and when folded it's only 43 by 30 centimeters. This means that you can easily find a place for it in your car. You can connect the 8-millimeter port of the Nomad 50 to power banks or power stations with an 8 millimeter connector, for example from the Goal Zero Yeti or Sherpa series. Solar panels usually reach up to 60% of the indicated power, which is about 30 watts. Below you can see how long it takes to charge per product. With this power station and generator, you're completely self-sufficient and you charge all your devices via the sun. Thanks to the USB-A port, you can connect smartphones or other devices directly to the solar panel with your own charging cable. The port supplies up to 12 watts of power, of which about 7.5 watts remains. Charging a smartphone takes between 2 and 4 hours, depending on the weather. There is an adjustable stand on the back of the Nomad 50 which allows you to place your solar panel in the right angle. The panels themselves are splash water resistant, but make sure the connectors don't get wet.
