Connect the mug to your smartphone and set the ideal drinking temperature via the app. You can save different settings for each drink, so you don't have to set the temperature manually. The light on the mug indicates when your drink is at the ideal temperature. You can also see how much caffeine you've taken in and set the color of the LED light on the Ember mug via the Ember app. Place your mug on the saucer to charge the built-in battery. Once full, the smart mug will keep your drink warm for 1.5 hours. When you place it on the charging saucer, your hot drink will remain constantly warm. The ceramic coating of the mug protects your smart mug from scratches.
