Our old frying pan was also from Tefal, and we have now purchased this one because the coating of the other pan is peeling off after 1.5 years, despite always washing by hand and using only plastic spatulas. This pan has a very fine, smooth coating, your food 'slides' through the pan, as it were. This does not burn, you need little oil or butter, and the pan is really easy to clean.
