Other than having to contact Support a few times before deciding to buy, the experience has been quite good. It was easy enough to install, so I have installed it myself. The only "coplaint" is that after the last update, the mode it operates has changed. In the past it allowed the temperature to decrease a bit more and ran for longer. After the update, it starts sooner and runs less. It would be nice it it would allow to set the number of degrees under the set temperature on which it would start.
If you already have a decent programmable unit, it's not worth getting. The learn functionality is not that good and not that useful. Also, the Auto away, is not that good

The product itself is fine; generally sleek and good. I’m very impressed by the efficiency, professionalism and friendliness of the installation technician. I bought the Nest along with the installation service. Scheduling was quick and efficient by the Coolblue team, who were very pleasant and friendly over email. The gentleman (Mark?) who came to install it was perhaps the best customer-oriented service I’ve ever had. Kept me informed he was running a bit late, showed up when he said he would, installed and set up everything fast. HIGHLY recommended.
I had one in the US and am pleased Nest made a European version.
Installation took approx. 1 hour. Mainly because the new power socket had to be installed for the hub. Wiring is simple if CV has OpenTherm.
It is not mentioned, but this is the european version of Nest, which has less features compared to the US version, i.e. it only has a control over the heating, but lacks control over AC and ventilation.
The thermostat works fine for few months for now. Compared to the previous on/off thermostat, the Nest thermostat heats up the hose more uniformly by moderating the temperature of the radiators.
