As a Java developer you'll work together with other development teams to make our back-end systems work optimally and give our customers the best insight and advice to reduce their energy consumption. Writing excellent Java code.
Solving problems with the best practices and principles that we've embraced, such as Clean Architecture, TDD/BDD, SOLID, and design patterns.
Writing automated tests so you know that the quality of your software is on point.
Coaching and mentoring your medior/junior colleagues.
Working with the Customer Journey Specialist to make our customers even happier.
Helping colleagues and yourself by reviewing pull requests and programming in pairs.

You recognize yourself in the following

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
3+ years of professional Java development experience
Advanced knowledge of Java programming and the Spring Framework
Strong experience in developing RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
Proficiency in version control systems, particularly Git
Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing
Knowledge of test-driven development (TDD) practices
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Java certifications (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional, Java SE 17 Developer) preferred
Experience in energy sector software development is a plus
Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and software development life cycle
You speak English very well
