Solve error charging station

Doesn't your charging station work? Follow these 4 steps:

  • Step 1. Check the plug.
  • Step 2. Check the car settings.
  • Step 3. Check the charge card.
  • Step 4. Reset your charging station.
Check the connector

Step 1: check the plug

First, check whether the connector is plugged into your charging station and car properly. Is this the case? Check if there's any dust or dirt in the way and carefully remove if so.

Check car settings

Step 2: check the car settings

Check the settings of your car afterwards. Maybe the function for electric charging has been turned off and your car isn't charging as a result. Check the manual of your car for more information on this.

Step 3: check the Charge Card

Do you have an external charge card? The problem may be your charge card. You can check this by charging at another charging station with your charge card. Are you able to charge at other charging stations, but not at your own? Go to step 4.

Fuse box

Step 4: reset the charging station

Solve the error by resetting your charging station. Go through the following steps:

  1. Turn of the fuse the charging station is connected to in the fuse box. Can't find it? Use the main switch. Note: your entire house will be out of power temporarily in this case.
  2. Turn it back on after 10 minutes and wait till the charging station has been rebooted. This takes a couple of minutes.
  3. Try to charge again.

Note: try this step once.
