After your registration, you'll receive a confirmation of your agreement. We'll help you cancel your energy contract at your old energy supplier.
The payment and your meter readings
Your first payment goes via a payment link in your email inbox. We'll read your meter readings beforehand or ask them from you via email.

As a Coolblue Energy customer, you get a cashback up to € 300 and always have access to exclusive Energy Deals at Coolblue.
When can I switch energy suppliers?
When you can switch energy suppliers depends on the type of contract. There are 3 contract types:
- Fixed contract: as the name implies, you have a contract for a fixed amount of time. For example, 1 or 3 years. At the end of the contract, you can cancel free of charge and switch to a different energy supplier. Do you want to cancel earlier? You'll have to pay a cancellation fee.
- Variable contract: with a variable contract, you can cancel free of charge every month and switch to a different energy supplier.
- Dynamic contract: do you have a dynamic contract? You can cancel at any time without a cancellation fee.
Other important information about switching
Did you switch to Coolblue Energy? You always have 14 days to change your mind. We'll cancel your old contract for you and let your network operator know that you're our customer. You'll never be without energy and gas. Does your current contract expire and your new one start in a week? You can still use energy and gas and will pay variable rates that week.
Coolblue Energy
With an energy contract from Coolblue Energy, you always get an extra discount at Coolblue. You get access to exclusive Energy Deals. From washing machines to televisions. You can also use Free Washing, Free Drying, and Free Dishwashing. That way, you can run your washing machine, dryer, and dishwasher for free between 12:00 and 15:00 every day.
