Which contract suits me?

Fixed energy contract

The rates are fixed for the duration of your contract. That means you pay a monthly fixed rate for electricity or gas. Your rate doesn't change, so you don't have to deal with increased prices. Do you like certainty? A fixed contract suits you.

At Coolblue Energy, you can choose from a 1-year or 3-year energy contract. Does your contract expire and don't you renew it? You'll automatically switch to a variable contract.

Dynamic energy contract

With dynamic energy, the energy rate changes every hour. Energy is more affordable when the sun shines or when it's windy, for example. You can benefit from this if you adjust your energy consumption to moments when the energy rates are low. Is it no problem for you to turn on your devices during the day and when the energy rates are low? A dynamic contract suits you.

Do you also choose gas from Coolblue Energy in addition to your dynamic contract? You pay a fixed amount per month for gas. This way, you benefit from affordable electricity and you get the certainty of fixed gas rates.

What if I still have an ongoing contract with a different supplier?

If your current contract ends within a certain period of time, you can already switch. You can plan your start date in advance. That way, you'll receive a cashback up to € 300 and you don't have to pay a cancellation fee.

When will I receive the cashback?

You'll receive your cashback one month after your contract starts. You'll receive an email when it's ready in your My Coolblue Energy account.
