What does the new coalition agreement mean?
The coalition agreement was published. This agreement contains some points we want to explain so you as a Coolblue Energy customer, so you're up-to-date on all possible changes. What's important to note is that nothing is final. These plans haven't been accepted by the Dutch Senate and House of Representatives yet. In this article, we'll give a short explanation of what's in the agreement.
The net-metering regulation ends in 2027
In the budgetary appendix of the agreement, it says that you can no longer subtract your generation from your consumption.
In the event that this passes and the net-metering regulation is ended at once in 2027, Coolblue Energy solar panels are still a good idea. The energy tax on gas is going down
The coalition agreement says that they want to partially turn back the previous increase for gas. It'll go down with € 0.028 per cubic meter of gas. This saves and average household about € 29 per year. An average household consumes 1050m3 of gas annually.
No subsidies for electric cars in 2025
If you buy or lease a fully electric car now, you're eligible for a subsidy. This subsidy will end in 2025. The discount on the weight correction does stay in place.
