Can I use my construction deposit for solar panels or a heat pump from Coolblue?
Yes. As long as your construction deposit is intended for energy-saving measures, you can use it for installations like solar panels or a heat pump from Coolblue Energy.
I have a MUNT Mortgage, but no Energy-Savins Budget yet. How do I arrange that?
You can often easily do this via MijnHypotheekOnline. Don't have a MUNT Mortgage yet? Your mortgage advisor can apply for the Energy-Saving Budget for you.
How does declaring work at MUNT Hypotheken?
It's very simple. You can do this via MijnHypotheekOnline.nl or the MUNT app. Having trouble? The Construction Deposit department is happy to help. Call them on working days between 8:30 and 17:30 at 033 454 64 99 or email muntbouwdepot@stater.nl. Note: For questions about increasing your mortgage, please contact your advisor.
How do I pay via my construction deposit?
After you request a quote, you'll receive an invoice. You can submit this invoice through MyHypotheekOnline. Once everything's approved, the amount will be deposited into your account within 5 working days.
What if there's not enough money in my construction deposit?
No problem. If there's not enough in your deposit, you can simply pay the remaining balance yourself. We'll discuss this with you beforehand.
Do I also get a discount on white goods at Coolblue?
Yes! If you have an energy contract with Coolblue Energy, you also get a discount on energy-efficient white goods. And more products. That saves you money on your energy bill and helps out the environment.
What are energy-saving facilities?
Do you want to make your house more energy-efficient? You can pay for some improvements with your sustainability deposit. Below, you can see which options there are:
- Facade insulation, roof insulation, floor insulation, and pipe insulation
- HR++ or better glass
- Energy-efficient doors, window frames, or other construction elements, but always with at least HR++ glass
- A shower that recovers heat
- An energy-efficient ventilation system, but only if you also take other energy-saving measures
- A heat pump
- Solar panels
Good to know
You can't pay for air conditioners, charging stations, and solar water heaters from your sustainability deposit. You can do this from your mortgage in most cases. Check this with your advisor.
