How do you make your De'Longhi Perfecta EVO ready for use?

Step 1: connect the coffee machine
- Take the booklet out of the bean hopper and milk reservoir and remove all stickers and protective film.
- Insert the plug in the socket and check if the main switch at the back of the machine is set to 'I'.
- Turn on the machine with the button on the side.
- Press the arrow buttons until you see the right language and press 'ok' to confirm.
- Remove the water tank from the machine and fill it up to the 'max' marking. Then put it back.
- Check if the spout on the nozzle is connected and place a container of at least 600ml under it.
Step 2: rinse the machine
- Press 'ok' to start rinsing. The coffee machine now disperses water from the spout.
- After rinsing, the machine turns off automatically.
- Turn the machine back on. Once it's heated up, the machine starts rinsing. This takes some time.
- Fill the milk reservoir with water up to 'max'.
- Replace the hot water spout with the milk reservoir. Put the milk reservoir in place and firmly attach it to the nozzle.
- Turn the froth adjustment dial to the setting with no froth.
- Place a container of at least 600ml under the milk spout.
- Make the drink 'hot milk'.
- Cancel the cleaning with the 'esc' button. Repeat this 2 more times.
- Remove the container and the milk reservoir.
- The machine is now ready for use.
