This is how a hybrid heat pump works
Step 1: the heat pump gets heat from the air
The pump gets heat from the outside air. It uses this to heat the water for your radiators.
Step 2: your central heating boiler helps out if necessary
Is it very cold outside or do you want to take a hot shower? Your gas-fired central heating boiler will lend a hand.
Step 3: you're in control
With a smart thermostat and the Weheat App, you can easily control the perfect temperature in your house.
Do you want to make your hybrid system fully electric later? You can!
4 to 5 times more efficient heating on average than with gas
A central heating boiler turns 1kWh of gas into about 0.9kWh of heat. The Weheat heat pump works on the power grid and gets more heat from that. Over an entire year, you get 4 to 5kWh of heat for 1kWh of power on average. On some that, this can even reach 6 to 7kWh.
So silent, you'll almost forget it
Weheat heat pumps are powerful and super silent. They're part of the most silent in their class. We'll help you place the outdoor unit in the right spot, so you'll hear it even less.
From a 3m distance, this is how they sound:
- Blackbird on the roof: 38dB (super silent), 46.5dB from up close
- Sparrow: 40.5dB (comparable to a fridge)
- Flint: 38dB (super silent)
With the Weheat app, you can easily adjust the sound and performance.
