Once connected, you can make coffee and the EQ700 has a large selection of coffee products. 32 coffee varieties, from 10 different countries. In addition to the regular coffee varieties such as an Espresso, Doppia, Latte Macciato and a Cappuccino, in the "CoffeeWorld" menu you can choose an Italian Ristretto, a Colombian Cortado, a Kaapi from South India, a Portuguese Garoto and much more!
What is an important aspect in the coffee machine for us: the milk. Since Latte Macciatos and Cappuccinos are mainly served here at home, it must contain a lot of firm foam. This machine does that very well. Nice thick milk foam!
In addition, I mainly drink Espressos, but with the EQ700 I regularly make a trip to the Ristretto. Delicious strong coffee, as if you imagine yourself in Italy. Now the sun!
But that's not all, this machine can be operated with WiFi and an app. Now that seems very inconvenient, because you have to change the cup anyway, and that's right. However, there are a number of tricks. The playlist, an ideal tool in the app to draw up a list during birthdays for visitors with all the coffees that need to be made. Enter names in the playlist and send the entire list to the coffee machine. This will then remove each cup from the playlist and you can see for each cup who it is for.
In addition, the machine can be linked to Alexa and Google Home. This also allows you to send commands by voice. It may seem trivial, but I use it more often than I might think. When I get out of bed: "Alexa, tell my coffemachine to turn on", once downstairs I don't have to start up anymore, the machine is ready to use. Nice gadgets!
This machine replaces the EQ6 Plus for us and we were already very satisfied with it. A very big advantage of the EQ700 is the improved brew group. The turning mechanism is now at the top, making cleaning a lot easier! A larger water reservoir, but unfortunately a smaller drip tray. All in all, super happy with the device! Lots of options, great coffee and easy to use!
