The Miele Triflex HX2 Flash is a very nice vacuum cleaner that is very powerful. This model has three cleaning modes, which makes it flexible. You can use it with the vacuum cleaner close to the floor head, which makes it more pleasant to use and feels a bit lighter. However, it is not helpful if you are trying to clean under furniture. So this is not my preferred mode. You can set it up with the stick attached to the end of the handheld unit. This mode is useful for going under furniture with the floor head, but it makes the unit heavier to carry and you cannot put it down. Finally you can use it as a handheld, and you can use it anywhere in the house or to clean up spills in your car. Very useful. The Miele Triflex HX2 comes with a handy wall mounting kit, so you can store it somewhere useful and it will always be charged. I like that the vacuum cleaner has 3 settings, but I find that I only use the settings that I feel most comfortable with, and I don't switch between settings. So it's a bit of a gimmick. After vacuuming the floor, it is very easy to empty the container. You twist and pull the container out. Then the bottom just opens and you suck out the dust. There's a part you turn around and it helps get the dust out. It is very well designed. I find it's not always easy to put it back in the vacuum, and it's tricky. There are several parts that need to be aligned and you have to get used to that. I've tried to vacuum my entire house on eco mode with it and never reached that goal. I have three floors and stairs, and usually the battery is dead by the time I can do the stairs. This is a little frustrating, but probably not the best use for this vacuum. I can accept that. My biggest problem with this vacuum is that I didn't think it was that easy to maneuver around objects and corners. Overall I think it's a great product, very well made, very well designed and very powerful.
