The Polar Loop gives me comprehensive insight into my health and helps me achieve my fitness goals. The Loop doesn't have a screen, so I'm not distracted by smartphone notifications.
Well-made and lightweight
The Loop is very light and I barely feel it on my wrist. The minimalist design makes it unobtrusive. It looks like a wristband you might wear at a festival, for example. I have a fairly small wrist, but the Loop fits well. The strap is made of nylon and is comfortable. The package includes an extra wristband in a larger size, a charging cable, and a manual.
Extensive features
The Polar Loop doesn't have a screen, so I can find all my data in the Polar Smart Flow app on my smartphone. Throughout the day, I can see how much I move there. This is helpful, because I want to reach my exercise goals every day. After a night's sleep, I get a sleep score, so I know how well I slept. The Loop also recognizes when I start running. I don't have to start a workout for this. That's very convenient.
No distractions
With a smartwatch, I always get all my smartphone notifications on my wrist. That can be quite distracting. The Loop doesn't have a screen, which is less distracting. At work, for example, I'm more focused.
Week-long battery life
I wore the Polar Loop day and night for a week. I didn't have to charge it. I went for two runs that week. I always notice that the battery drains faster with smartwatches during workouts or training. That's not the case with the Loop.
Subscription-free use
I don't need a subscription for the Polar Loop. I get the most important features right away at no extra cost. This also applies to the Polar Flow app.
