I have had this set for a few weeks now, purchased it as a result of a 5.1/DTS receiver for which my previous speakers had the wrong impedance. And I have to say (the title says it all) that the quality is good in this price range.
Of course there are better ones, but they are also a (significant) step more expensive, and I only use the set in the winter season (I don't watch TV in the summer time) to watch my movies with good sound support, because I do value a good bit of sound in my film.
The placement of the various sounds is fine, center is also really center and surround is also surround, only the basses could have been a little more pronounced. I set the subwoofer to an average volume and the measuring microphone of the amplifier was fine with it, but it is not really pronounced. This may also be due to the placement, the woofer is positioned to the left of the sofa due to the lack of space and that's not the most optimal place.
The mid and high tones are well spread out, which is noticeable in this price range! In summary, I can say that overall the sound is fine for the price I paid for it. A surprise was that there was speaker cable in the box, a total of 25 meters is enough for the standard living room, and the subwoofer has its own cable, which was fortunately just long enough. Good reasonably thick quality cables and not those thin telephone wires, and also with clear color coding!
Neatly packaged and with an excellent user manual with clear wiring diagrams, a child can do the laundry. Overall, I am very satisfied with this product, but the real audiophile will swear by a top set with a price that can rise in the direction of 1000 euros.
Price/performance ratio is not missing and I like that, more is not necessary.
