I had a Bosch POF 1200. The running gear had become very stiff, and the clamp to fix the router no longer clamped properly, causing the router to move in height while milling. With the use of a rebate cutter that was the end of the workpiece.
Bought the 1400 now, and the height adjustment on top (which can't handle just a few mm) and the height clamp that 'works the other way around' so that you automatically fix the router at the correct height make the difference in a very positive sense.
