It took me around 6 hours!! to calibrate the len with this usb dock. The reason is that they don't show you how to set up a good scenario to test your lens while calibrating all focus lens options. So you need to make sure that you have a good place to set up your camera and the objects you are going to use for your tests. If you ask me if it was worth it? The answer is, Hell Yeah!. The quality level of my photos after calibrating every distance for each focus len of the options on my 18-35 mm is astonishing. I'm traveling in South East Asia and my first test was to shot with the Sigma 18 to 35 mm in Angkor Wat, Cambodia, the results are unbelievable. The out of focus is totally fixed, specially the back focus issue I had with this len. I take better and more clear pictures as well. Before calibrating the len it was a frustration not to get sharp pictures but that is now totally fixed. From 10 photos 8 are sharp for sure, depending the situation, moving target, static objects, etc. The overall performance of this len is now totally improved after using the USB dock.
