After a few years of experience in the use of reportage strobes with light shapers, I decided after some searching to buy a set of studio strobes.
I've worked with professional flashlights before, so can compare this one as well. Despite the lighter weight, the flashes feel relatively sturdy. The tripods are solidly built, can be relatively high, and are certainly sturdy enough for these flash units. However, I would not mount heavier flash sets on it.
The flash units themselves have enough power for the novice studio photographer, and with the necessary light shapers that are included you can start well. For portraits and full-body shots, the 3x 300W is certainly enough, but for larger productions (think of cars and larger groups) this is a bit light. But as I said, for a novice photographer or even the advanced amateur, this is certainly powerful enough.
Also handy is the trolley in which everything fits, and it also feels sturdy, and is regularly used to take these strobes on location (albeit in the vicinity of a 230V connection).
The softbox takes some practice, but it is usually put together under a minute, and is equipped with a 2nd diffuse screen in the middle of the softbox, which gives an even softer light.
The valve set is easy to assemble, but with the accompanying honeycomb it can run a bit warmer when the modeling lamp is on. However, this is not really a problem. This is a different matter with the color filters, but it clearly states not to use the modeling lamp for too long with the color filters on it.
