Here is a small review of Willem's work (that's what I like to call him):
Just to get straight to the point, I would recommend buying it if you don't want to worry about vacuuming anymore. Either this one, or another robot vacuum cleaner, but for the price I paid for this one and the fun I get from it, I recommend this one.
Why?
You turn it on and it starts playing. You don't have to worry about it. You have to accept that you turn that thing on every time it is charged. So vacuuming is done more often than you did it manually. Also, don't make it too difficult for him, so take shoes and such off the floor if you're having the hall vacuumed or something.
Smooth floor: No problem. You will have to pick up large pieces such as chips or something manually, but in general Willem absorbs quite a lot. Even if I let him do the same room twice, he still has dust in his bowl. This also means that he took things the second time that he didn't take the first time, but you'll have to get over that. You are going to vacuum in a different way. Instead of actively and focused vacuuming yourself, you just let Willem ride around in circles. When it's tired you hang it on the charger and when it has power again let it continue where it was. Or you can put it somewhere else, whichever you prefer.
Rug/carpet: I found out that that "shaggy" rug that I have next to my bed has really absorbed a lot of sand and such lately. Even after vacuuming, I knocked out mountains of sand. Time for a test. I took the brushes off Willem to prevent them from breaking and then he just quietly sucks in circles. After a while there was quite a bit of that sand and stuff in the tray. So I let Willem do the carpet again. So please note that you have to see how the brushes behave on carpets or carpets, possibly disassemble them if you let Willem work on them.
Corners: Some more stubborn dust may have accumulated in my corners that Willem can't get rid of, so I'll go over with the mop and see if it's still building up in two weeks, but I'm guessing the brushes will catch.
Jams: Willem gets stuck under my linen closet. This also causes scratches, but it remains a utensil so I don't mind. To prevent it, I'm going to put a hockey stick there from now on so that he can bounce away from the closet in time. Again the brushes will pick up the dust that is there. Otherwise you will have to manually sweep or vacuum every once in a while.
Cleaning: Amazingly simple. Everything clicks loose or open, I clean the filter by hand above the trash can. This will remove the large dust fluff. You simply tip the mess in the tray into the waste bin. I vacuum the filter every now and then with the vacuum cleaner, it also gets something to do. You have to get rid of hairs from the brushes every now and then, not that difficult. Mind you, it's a lot of plastic. Plastic tears or breaks quickly in my view. So always work carefully with the parts and you will really enjoy not having to vacuum the dust yourself.
Result: 9/10 Price/Quality ratio 10/10
Why not 10? Because he could work better. Only add that you immediately go to the 400€ robot vacuum cleaners. For what it can do, it's an incredible device. The only downside is if you're in a cleanup mood you have to wait 4 hours until he can play again, or you have to pick up the vacuum cleaner yourself (which I hated so much)
I think I've covered everything with this.
