Turn on the device: it has found the satellites in seconds. Pairing with Giant's ridesense speed and cadence sensor is a breeze. Same for the heart rate monitor. If you want to drive without a speed sensor, you have a great GPS speed. Under foliage, the speed fluctuates a bit more than with a speed sensor. I compared the GPS speed with the sensor speed of another cycling computer. The speeds are very close together and at the end of the ride the overall difference in average speed and distance is very small. You can arrange the screen however you want. For example, I now have 9 measured values on my standard screen. Along the way you can browse to other screens with different data. After the ride you come home and before you put your bike in the shed, the ride data has already been uploaded to Garmin Connect via WiFi. If you want to let the device determine the route itself, it comes with three proposals. Choose one and you can constantly keep the map on the screen while on the road, but you can also just keep the measurement data in view. Before each change of direction, the map with the route indication automatically appears: top! I've had a few rides with it now and am very excited. I can't think of any cons at the moment.
