During the hot summer days, the children's rooms on the sunny side of our house became very hot, which made sleeping and playing less pleasant. That is why we went looking for a mobile air conditioner to cool these rooms (of approximately 30 cubic meters) before going to bed. After some research and because of positive previous experiences with Coolblue, we chose to purchase the Eurom PAC 9.2. We chose this air conditioner because of the large cooling capacity, the handy design, the price/quality ratio and the positive reviews. As always, Coolblue's service was excellent and the air conditioning was already in our house the day after ordering. Service with a smile was again successful this time.
The air conditioner is neatly and firmly packed in a box in which all accessories are also packed. The air conditioning was transported and delivered upright, so we could use it immediately.
The air conditioning model is handy and equipped with castor wheels at the bottom. This makes it easy to move. Handles on the side would have made moving even easier.
The air conditioning is easy to operate through the easy control panel or the supplied remote control. Switching on is easy and choosing the temperature goes without saying. In addition to cooling, the air conditioning can also dehumidify and act as a fan, but we have no experience with that yet. It is very convenient that the air conditioning can be set on time. During an afternoon away we set the air conditioning, so that it would only start cooling after 4 o'clock. When we got home, the room was nice and cool. Switching off after a certain time is also a nice feature of this device.
The cooling capacity is fine for bedrooms and the temperature difference is quickly felt. After an hour we had lowered the room temperature by 3 degrees (on the lowest setting), which is a delight compared to non-cooled rooms.
The accessories with the air conditioning are a disadvantage. The flexible hose can be wrinkled fairly quickly when pushed in, which makes it more difficult to push in further. Entering with policy is recommended. The accessory to secure the air hose in the window is inconvenient and fell right out on the first use. Hanging the hose out of the window is much easier and the hose is long enough to do that even from a skylight. The wall connection is an accessory that we do not use.
The Eurom PAC 9.2 is recommended for cooling (bed)rooms. You will notice results quickly and our children slept significantly better with the heat after cooling with this device. The device is handy, beautiful to look at, easy to move and easy to operate. The time that can be set (for both switching on and off) is very useful. The ratio between price and quality is good. The accessories need to be treated with care, the window accessory is simply inconvenient.
