Check whether this thermostat matches your central heating boiler! I have a Nefit Topline resume. It comes with a so-called dedicated Nefit thermostat. A disaster thing: you first have to follow a study to understand the manual and then it still doesn't work properly (just read the forums on the internet). That's why we bought the Honeywell Chronotherm Touch. The Nefit Topline is NOT an OpenTherm CV. This means that a thermostat from another brand does NOT 'communicate' with the central heating system. This ensures that you can also install thermostats other than Nefit. So keep in mind that if you don't have an OpenTherm CV, the cost of the converter will be added to the purchase price of the Chronotherm Touch.

The manual is clear and complete; you will be guided step-by-step through the setup program. You can set days per day or per cluster. You can program 4 or 6 periods per day. The thermostat has now been hanging on the wall for 1 week and still has to prove itself, especially when it comes to optimizing the heating time. I.e. that the Chronotherm should reach the set temperature at the time I set. The thermostat needs a few days to adjust the heating time. I have underfloor heating and it heats up a bit slower than radiators, so I'm curious how it handles that. At the moment the measured temperature of the room is as I have set it. The only downside I've been able to find so far: removing the thermostat from the back plate (which is screwed to the wall). The button on top of the thermostat is difficult to press and therefore difficult to release. Honeywell has been a major player in the market for years and in my experience it provides reliable products. If you're looking for a simple, easily adjustable thermostat, I recommend this one.
