The push-ups and sit-ups I did on the floor made me very simple. It was boring and required a lot of motivation to keep going, especially when neck and/or back problems are added. I'm too lazy to go to the gym and have been looking for something alternative for a while. When I came across this Wonder Core II, I was actually already hooked, because it seemed ideal to me and you train multiple muscle groups with it. So after a few days of thinking I ordered it.
Knowing Coolblue, he came the next day and immediately put the device together. Checked carefully which parts were included and followed the manual, before I knew it it was put together.
I have now been using the Wonder Core II for a month and am enjoying it a lot. I do it 2 to 3 times a week and in the past few weeks I have been able to find the pros and cons of this product, which is partly personal.
As you can read in the pluses, there is a DVD included for beginners, because you will notice the many functions that you can perform with this device. It also helps you to get started. Unfortunately, there is only one video on this and each exercise explains in detail how to perform it, which is of course good. But when you know how to perform them, there is no video that will take you through them quickly. For a lighter or heavier training you will have to find your own way.
The device is not made for us Dutch people, because with my height of 1.88 meters the device is not always comfortable to use. Although it can be adjusted in length, it is not enough to sit in a comfortable position. The ease of use also decreases a bit, but that is negligible. So if you are 1.90 or longer, I advise you to test the Wonder Core II somewhere before you want to purchase this product.
The rowing set is very useful for training the many other muscle groups, but when your muscle strength increases, the rowing set can become too easy. There is a “Â'Wonder Core II Rowing Set PRO” available with more resistance, but unfortunately this is not available at Coolblue. Although the standard rowing set is sufficient for me for the time being, it contains enough resistance.
When the Wonder Core II is folded, it won't fit under my bed; when folded it is 30 cm high. So who knows, it might fit under your bed.
