Affordable recommendation for weather and wind

I can now easily guard our animals in the stable and meadow. Image quality is fine, and 20m night vision is perhaps a bit exaggerated, but it is certainly not bad.

Installation is very simple for a standard setup. I myself have an extensive network behind extenders, and then it is all a bit of fiddling with fixed IPs and port forwarding, and that is not just described in the manual. If you know what you're doing it's not too difficult though, just a bit time consuming.

A scheduled reboot is not possible, only a manual one, but that is not possible via the mobile app, so if you have just left home, you will miss the scheduled reboot.

It is inconvenient that you cannot remove the extra cables (for fixed network cable, and for sound) if you do not need them. It then hangs as a separate bundle. I put it in a plastic bag and sealed it with tape to prevent dust or tiny creatures from damaging the place. Foscam could have made that easier to unscrew.

General for all Foscams: The app for Android does not always work great, and you can only set the camera with it to a very limited extent. So you need a browser for the full settings. And the camera administration doesn't work with Chrome, so on an Android tablet, forget it. On the Apple MacBook you have to use Safari with a plugin, but then it works.
