According to our leaf blower expert
The Stiga SBV 48 AE is a cordless leaf blower that allows you to both blow and vacuum leaves. The sucked up leaves are neatly collected in the collection bag. This way, you won't need to rake and clean up everything afterwards. A real benefit of this leaf blower is that you don't have to worry about cables or gasoline. Simply charge the battery in time, so you can get started cordlessly.
Note: the 48-volt battery isn't included with this product.

By far the best powertool extension. I can't say clearly enough how cool it is to see those leaves go into the plunger. The fan/mulcher system (which cuts the leaves when vacuuming before it disappears into a bag) is a one-way system, which means that the suction nozzle (wider) must be on a different connection point than the blower nozzle (thinner with a focal point to deliver maximum blowing force) . It makes maintenance a little trickier, sometimes, but oh my gosh, it's fun to use.
I can't say much about the blower, I use the piston/mulcher mode pur sec. During my first session I could only fill 2 bags on one charge of the additionally ordered 2.5 Ah battery, but that was at maximum setting with the turbo on, which happens by default when the suction mode is turned on. My advice for a new user: 4-Turbo or 5 without Turbo is more than enough when the foliage is dry. This way the battery lasts 4 bags, so make sure you don't just ask for maximum power from the piston.
The piston doesn't make astonishing noise - doable without hearing protection, but I do recommend ordering it with it, possibly even with the 5Ah battery. With a small (or well-maintained cough) garden, a 2.5 is sufficient, but heavy work requires a larger battery.
Personally, I can recommend blowing out the device with a little compressed air after use.
Another thing that stood out: With blockages when vacuuming, it is a bit difficult to get the squeegee off. In my case, the clutch sometimes blocks because it does not always release / lock properly. The device has several technical fuses so that the mulcher/blower absolutely cannot start without, for example, the drain being connected or the piston/grid connected. The battery is also protected in several ways against undercharging/overheating.

Blowing away the mess just as quickly is what happens. You don't do that so quickly if you first have to unroll a cord. The device is solidly built and has 2 speeds, where you can even steplessly regulate the speed with a thumb wheel. the range of devices of this brand that can work with the same battery is large.
