fine but not better than an average adapter

is really apple. Fits perfectly on an Apple connector. But it is much more expensive than an average other adapter that also works well. So it's just what you want. A choice of everything Apple or you go for it works. Note the resolution. This adapter will NOT work if you need a resolution higher than 1920 x 1200
