After my TI-84 Plus broke down and it was no longer available, the TI-84 CE-T seemed like a very logical choice to me.
I am especially pleased that the interface is the same, which is of course useful if you have known the device for a long time. Taking lessons is also simple since you don't have to do anything special to be able to do it on your device.
The advantages are that you do not have to walk around with a pack of batteries for an exam. Just don't leave your mobile phone on the charger the night before and hang your calculator on it 😄 because you can just feed them with a USB charger.
You could already distinguish graphs with the TI-84 Plus by displaying one thicker or in dotted lines, but with the CE-T you can choose a color to distinguish them.
The only drawback is that the CE-T is a bit more fragile than the Plus. Not only because it is thinner (the Plus got its inspiration from Nokia), but the LCD screen is also more sensitive to scratches, whereas the screen of the Plus was slightly deeper. So you have to pay attention, especially if you were used to the 'Bump' plus. The advantage is that my backpack can now be closed more easily because it is thinner.
The battery is very good. After a week of use every day for at least an hour and a half, I still see a full battery on my screen.
For the Plus I had a written program for discriminant and another and you can transfer this perfectly with the link cable (supplied) from Plus to CE-T. The CE-T can now display even more than m'Plus could.
Of course, Coolblue's service also deserves praise, because the delivery time was perfectly respected.
