According to our table saw expert
The DeWalt DWE7491 isa very powerful professional table saw with a large reach. You can cut up to 77 millimeters deep at a 90°-angle and up to 57 millimeters deep at 45°. The width of the work surface can be up to 67x63 centimeters, so larger projects aren't a problem either. Thanks to it's low weight - 26.6 kilograms - and the limited circumference of the machine base, the table saw very easy to carry. The steel roll cage protects the saw from damage. The rack and pinion fence system, front and rear fence lock, and large clear scales combined make this an extremely accurate and easy-to-use saw

I bought a 7491 table saw today. What I'm wondering is why is there such a hideous miter gauge in there? It is a piece of plastic that is almost impossible to read and there is a lot of slack in it that you just can not imagine that such a misery comes with a saw table of this size and quality. I should get compensation.

Bought the saw for the better hobby work from garden house to cabinets and furniture.
Have tested three saws, the Scheppach HS105, Metabo TS 254 and this Dewalt DWE 7491, the quality difference is noticeable between the Scheppach and Dewalt and Metabo.
I had my doubts when I had the Metabo because this is also a nice strong machine with a mobile chassis as standard, but I was not completely satisfied with the stop and the table was not flat enough for me, there was quite a sagging.
The Dewalt has a flatter table, although it is not 100% flat either, but the longitudinal stop works great! I think the competition must be jealous of the rack and pinion stop system!
The miter gauge is good enough for rougher work, would like to purchase the Incra MITERV27 for this myself.
Also wanted to look at the Bosch GTS 10 XC, but after the Dewalt I couldn't imagine that the (even) more expensive Bosch would do better, unless you go for a large saw and I don't have room for that.
I am very satisfied with the Saw and the service from Coolblue, fast, easy and continuously informed about the entire progress.

It's a big saw but you know that in advance, it's all what you buy.
