Fantastic backpack for camera. I've had a Nikon SLR in it with an 18-105 mm lens on it and this fit in the backpack on its side (not as it should, but doable!). Also a telephoto lens in the top box. Doable for a holiday, protection is not quite top; you can't drop it, but it was perfect for carrying both camera and telephoto lens and some other useful stuff. Its compactness makes it very pleasant to wear; it's not a punishment to drag.
