The Kensington BlackBelt case makes sure I really dare to use my Surface Pro 4 again. On its own, the SP4 feels a bit fragile due to the thin design and I often felt that I had to be very careful with it. So looking for a case!
It was a bit of a choice between the Urban Armor Gear or the Kensington, but in the end opted for the Kensington. The case protects the sides of the device well, without getting in the way of the fans. I think that's a huge plus about the Kensington, because a lot of cases don't take into account that the SP4 (with the exception of the M3 model) has a ventilation system. Although the SP4 does get a bit warmer with this case, that is generally only a difference of two to three degrees. If you do something that causes the temperature to rise, I recommend taking the pen out of the holder for a while, so that the fans on the left can also lose the warm air, but otherwise this design has been well thought out.
The back of the device is also well protected. The case adds a lot of 'bulk' to the top, the SP4 does become a lot thicker because of this case, but the whole also feels a lot sturdier. The bottom has been released, so that you can still use the kickstand of the Surface. This was the reason for me to choose this case: I often found the built-in kickstands of other cases a lot less attractive than those of Microsoft itself.
At the front, the case is a bit higher at the edges, so that if you drop the Surface, the glass won't leave the ground. This definitely gives a safe feeling, unfortunately the edges may be a bit too high. When you lay your Surface flat to write on it, your wrist will often touch these edges and it will hurt after a while. This is quite a big disadvantage and I hope that Kensington will take this into account more in a possible next case. This is also a fantastic case for people who often lose their pen: the pen holder is sturdy and your pen will not just fall out.
All in all, I think the Kensington is a good case, with a few drawbacks that (for me) outweigh the benefits. I'd recommend the case if you don't write a lot on the Surface, otherwise I might opt for a case with a slightly lower bezel at the front so it doesn't get in your way.

I wanted a cover that protects and where you could use the original surface support. Handle is very handy. Unpack and insert, in 2 minutes.
