According to our bike navigation expert
With the Wahoo ELEMNT Bundle, you can bike from A to B without getting lost. The wireless bike navigation is equipped with GPS and a navigation system. There are cadence and speed sensors included with the bike navigation, making the system suitable for performance-oriented cyclists. If you attach these sensors to your bike, you'll be able to check your speed and cadence on the bike navigation. A heart rate belt is also included, so you can keep an eye on your heart rate. Thanks to the LED lights, you can see different training data at a glance. You don't have to bring your phone. During your ride, all data is saved and automatically sent to the specially developed app. Once you're back home, you can check your performance on this app. You'll receive incoming calls or messages via the bike navigation. You can easily follow your cycling buddies via the Live Tracking system on the screen.

Bought the Wahoo Elemnt as a replacement for my Mio 315HC. Setup is a breeze. Connection with smartphone goes very smoothly: scan the QR code and that's it. The speedometer and cadence sensor are super easy to install, no hassle with magnets. They are also found directly by the Wahoo app, as well as the HR sensor. The device itself feels robust and works very smoothly. Linking with Strava is hassle-free. The navigation itself was searching in the beginning. I failed to get turn-by-turn (TBT) navigation on my device, which is a must for me. After some research I found out that you only get TBT navigation if you create a route via RideWithGPS or Komoot. This is important: when importing existing routes you have NO TBT by default, which means that you really just have to constantly look at the map. Not workable for me. I'm now working through Komoot, import existing route and they sync immediately with the Wahoo. Komoot automatically adds tbt, so you always get nice directions (sound + screen + LED). You have to pay a one-time cost of 29€ (to Komoot), to unlock all regions! It is a pity that Wahoo does not offer this service. We have to wait for Strava to export the TBT to the Wahoo. The device will not re-route you in the event of a detour, for example. Then you have to look at the map and find the route, in itself not such a problem.
All in all, very satisfied with the Wahoo Elemnt!

Very pleasant device with very good readability both during the day and in the dark. A good training partner with stable measurements. The operation with external apps goes well, although it takes a lot of time. I now use strava, trainigpeaks and ride with gps. By the time you have figured everything out and understand what really helps/works you will be a little later. If you buy this device you should not expect that you can leave immediately, a lot has to be set up. All in all this goes smoothly and from then on it works well and it continues to work (for now anyway ;p )
