Is a frequently used device with us, especially for toasties. Two easily fit side by side. It is now the second copy. Previous had a defective heating element after four years of intensive use. A bit on the large side for an "ultra compact", but clearly better than our previous, smaller contact grill and sandwich machines. This device heats up quickly and is reasonably well adjustable. The latter requires some practice and testing for the best result. The top grill plate can be folded back 180 degrees so that you can also use it as a gourmet / table grill, for example. Quickly warming up a few tortillas, roti pancakes or Lebanese bread is also fine. Do not put the removable grill plates in the dishwasher after use, but simply brush them with a regular washing-up brush and hot water and, if necessary, a little washing-up liquid. I think this is the best to keep the Teflon layer good for a long time. Despite the intensive use, they were still good for us!
