I was looking for a smart thermostat but understood from research that most smart thermostats don't save energy at all. And they are often quite expensive to purchase, while the ease of use also leaves a lot to be desired. Earlier I bought a (chinese) thermostat at a hardware store, just under 200, -, but I exchanged it after a week. Reason: no match with kettle and complicated.

The tado is a breath of fresh air. Easy to use, clear explanation (in Dutch), I was able to set separate time schedules for different days. And: before you start the installation, they check for you whether it matches your boiler. That is the case in 95% of the cases, they say.

Last year we purchased Tado for the arrangement of our entire house. I spent a lot of time researching what the best system was for a zone control with underfloor heating. Our house had 5 radiator heads and 1 underfloor heating for the ground floor. The installation did not go completely smoothly. We even had to call the emergency number because our underfloor heating was going crazy. Fortunately we were able to call an emergency number from Tado and luckily our floor did not give out.

After a lot of calling and e-mailing with Tado, the floor heating did not work properly. In the end, I indicated that Tado just simply isn't doing what it's supposed to do. Finally, an employee admitted it. If a radiator asks for heat somewhere in the house, the underfloor heating is also heated.

Tado indicated that she had an extension kit, which could possibly solve the problem. They could not give me that guarantee either and this would mean that I had to pull wires. So I thank you very much for this.
