This is one of the cheapest "high end" projectors on the market with a great absorbing image.

Pros:

The enormous optical zoom range and large lens shift ensure that you can place it almost anywhere and still get the image completely neat (make sure that it is perfectly level).
Beautiful full HD resolution gives a smooth image without pixels, even up close.
LCD technology. This is a must for some. If you are one of the lucky ones who can observe the DLP rainbow artifacts (like me) then you have no choice and you have to switch to (more expensive) LCD beamer.
Even in ECO mode a lot of light output, which allows you to leave it in ECO and thus also enjoy a relatively quiet beamer.

Cons:

Compared to a good DLP beamer, the black contrast is significantly less. This is only true if you test them side by side.
Buttons to shift lens are a bit loose and when adjusting horizontally, it shifts vertically and vice versa. This is typical EPSON apparently. With a little fine-tuning, you get the image exactly where you want it.
With the standard NEC pattern to focus (see below) you cannot observe uniformity at the edges. You can also see this when used with text. However, once you work with (full HD) film material, it's just fun.
